Jackie O and Lexi get along like two peas in a pod. They can often be found sleeping together in their cat carrier. The foster home also has two big dogs, and Jackie O is starting to warm up to them. They are just a little big for her tastes. I think she would be okay in a home where there are other pets, cats or dogs, as long as the introduction was slow and on her terms. Jackie O just loves to snuggle and she will willingly roll over on her back for tummy rubs.

He is very skinny and needs to be fattened up. Butkus has to be one of the sweetest and most affectionate cats. He has the sweetest voice and just talks to everyone who walks by his cage. He just loves the attention of all the staff and volunteers. Butkus is front paw declawed.
In an effort to get Butkus into a permanent home, we are waiving the adoption fee, as we are just concerned about getting Butkus into a more comfortable situation for his golden years. We think he would be a perfect addition to a nursing home or assisted living facility. He has such a friendly and gentle personality. Butkus is wonderful with kids of all ages, and is fine with other cats. He hasn't been exposed to the dogs at the shelter so we don't know about that yet. Please come in and meet this wonderful boy.
